Pop Trading Company is a Dutch streetwear label founded in Amsterdam in 2013 by Peter Kolks and Ric van Rest, two figures of the local skate scene. Having started out as distributors for brands such as Palace, Polar and Quartersnacks, they launched their own menswear line in 2016 with a clear vision: a wardrobe that brings skateboarding culture together with the standards of contemporary menswear.
Peter Kolks sums up the brand as "a more considerate version of a skateboard apparel brand. Like a menswear-inspired skate brand; or the other way around."
The collections are conceived with particular care for fabrics, silhouettes and artistic collaborations, notably with artists such as Piet Parra.
Pop Trading Company has also opened a dialogue with the worlds of luxury and fashion, through collaborations with Burberry, Liberty London and Adidas. Available in Rennes at Aura Store and on our online shop.
