ACT Running

At ACT Running, performance is not only about weight, breathability or protection. The brand also aims to measure the impact of each product and make that information visible.

ACT analyses the life cycle of its equipment and displays its carbon footprint directly on its products through the Carbon Label. This approach to transparency goes alongside the development of bio-based technical materials and manufacturing choices intended to reduce environmental impact without compromising the demands of running.

The brand sums up this approach in two words: Sustainable Performance.

ACT Running develops several families of technical materials designed to respond to different phases and conditions of effort.

BioPerf™ is a plant-based nylon derived from castor beans, developed to create a lightweight, breathable fabric with a soft feel against the skin. ShellLight™ focuses on lightness, water repellency and protection, while BioFlex™ provides greater support and compression.

For colder conditions, ThermoShell™ combines insulation with active ventilation. Its bio-based polyester is notably developed using repurposed cocoa husks.

This technology-led construction allows ACT to progressively cover the full running wardrobe, from base layers to protective outer layers.

The ACT Running silhouette remains deliberately understated. Technical details are integrated into the garment rather than used as decoration: functional pockets, ventilation zones, reflective elements, lightweight construction and protection against changing conditions.

This restraint is also part of what interests us at AURA. ACT T-shirts, shorts, mid-layers and jackets are designed first for running, but their design makes them easy to wear beyond training.

ACT therefore sits at the intersection of two areas we follow closely: performance clothing and a contemporary wardrobe designed around real use.
