Veja's first trail shoe: we had to bring it in. It's very light in the hand, and on foot the toe box is generously wide, so your toes aren't squeezed, with cushioning that really does the job. Full black is the easiest version in the range to wear, on the trail or in the street. It runs small, so go one size up.

Veja Harpie Trail AeroShell in Full Black, the brand's first trail shoe. AeroShell upper in recycled polyester, light, breathable and quick-drying, with an anatomical fit. TerraGrip outsole in Amazonian rubber with directional lugs for grip on both climbs and descents, RubberFoam midsole in bio-sourced EVA. 7 mm drop, 275 g, made in Brazil. This model runs small, order one size up.

Why Aura selected it

Veja is a French sneaker brand founded in Paris in 2004 by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion. The name means "look" in Portuguese, an invitation to see what lies behind a product.
Before launching the brand, the two founders travelled the world to study production conditions in the footwear industry. Veja uses organic cotton grown in Brazil and Peru through fair-trade supply chains, wild rubber harvested in the Amazon by seringueiros, and materials recycled from plastic bottles. The sneakers are produced in Brazil and Portugal, in factories that respect workers' rights.
The brand made a radical choice: zero advertising. The entire budget usually devoted to marketing is reinvested in raw materials, production and paying producers. Available in Rennes at Aura Store and on our online shop.
