Why Aura selected it

Le Mont Saint Michel is a French workwear brand founded in 1913 in Pontorson, Normandy, by brothers Louis and Henri Ariès.
Based a few kilometres from the famous abbey, they set up a workshop dedicated to workers in Brittany and Normandy, with one speciality: the moleskin work jacket, cut to last.
For decades their clothes dressed the farmers, craftsmen and labourers of western France, with period slogans such as "Trois fois plus d'usage" or "Les meilleurs vêtements".
After lying dormant from the late 70s, the brand was relaunched in 1998 by Alexandre Milan, who came from a textile family in northern France. He brought the iconic work jacket back to life while opening the workwear wardrobe up to a more contemporary style, still designed in Brittany and made in Europe.
