Description

Baracuta G18 jacket in navy Baracuta Cloth, a revisited 60s silhouette with a shirt collar and a soft, non-ribbed construction. Two back pleats replace the traditional umbrella yoke, pockets inspired by 70s jackets. Fraser Tartan cotton lining. Made in the United Kingdom.

Why we selected it

The G18 is Baracuta's new model, revisiting a forgotten silhouette from the 60s. With a shirt collar instead of the Dog Ear, back pleats instead of the umbrella yoke, and no ribbed cuffs, it's a more streamlined, modern Baracuta. In navy and Baracuta Cloth, it stays true to the brand's DNA while offering something different from the G9.

Why Aura selected it

Baracuta est une marque britannique de prêt-à-porter fondée à Manchester en 1937 par les frères John et Isaac Miller. Golfeurs passionnés, ils créent en 1938 la G9, une veste pensée pour le terrain : coupe courte, col dog ear, poches inclinées et doublure en tartan Fraser c'est la naissance de ce que le monde entier appellera la Harrington jacket.
Portée par Elvis Presley, Steve McQueen et James Dean, la G9 traverse les décennies sans jamais se démoder.
