Akila est une marque de lunettes indépendante fondée à Los Angeles en 2018 par Chris Mart, après dix ans passés dans le streetwear et la direction créative d'une maison de lunettes en Espagne.
La marque propose des séries limitées artisanales qui allient design contemporain et engagement environnemental. Les montures sont fabriquées en acétate biosourcé, dérivé de coton et de pulpe de bois, biodégradable. Les verres intègrent 50% de matière recyclée certifiée ISCC, tout en offrant une protection UVA/UVB et une clarté optique.
Chaque pièce est façonnée et polie à la main, avec des charnières à barillet en acier inoxydable pensées pour durer. Disponible à Rennes chez Aura Store et sur notre e-shop.
