The OTNR-P1 model is the most visually striking piece in the Nottoballsy collection. It's not just a pair of wide-leg trousers; it's an exploration of texture. Made in Rennes, it combines the formal elegance of the 90s with the raw ruggedness of traditional Japanese denim.

The Material: Japanese Sashiko (14oz)

What immediately strikes you is the fabric.

  • Sashiko Technique: Traditionally used in Japan to repair and reinforce work clothes (Boro), the Sashiko embroidery stitch is reinterpreted here. It covers the entire fabric with horizontal patterns, creating a unique texture and feel.

  • 14oz Denim: A medium-heavy black canvas that ensures an impeccable drape. Unlike fluid fabric, this denim structures the wide cut: the trousers maintain their shape when moving.

The Cut: "Tailoring" x Streetwear

The architecture of the trousers is a play of contrasts:

  • Double French Pleats: Borrowed from suit trousers, these waist pleats give generous volume to the thighs and enhance the formal aspect.

  • Exaggerated Volume: The cut is intentionally Oversized and Wide. It breaks at the shoe for a strong contemporary silhouette.

  • Jeans Details: Despite its "suit" cut, the finishes remain true to denim (patch back pockets, topstitching) to break up the overly serious side.

Size & Style Guide

Fit: Extra Wide & High Waist.

  • The model: Hedi is 1m89 (6'2") and wears a size L.

  • Sizing Advice: These trousers offer two different ways to wear them.

    • High Waist: Take your usual size and wear them high with a belt for an elegant "90s Tailoring" look that lengthens the leg.

    • Low Waist: Take one size up to wear them low on the hips, in a skate/streetwear style, accentuating the "baggy" and oversized look.
